Good old Engine 733 from Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey..... What?.... 733 just happens to be my credit score but yet I still can't buy a new lawn mower because some pig feels we won't be able to make the $83.00 payments for 3 years. Besides I like the name Ho-Ho-Kus and this pic has the added benefit of not being flowers...
Travis doing his best Fred Astaire impersonation at Caitlin & Karl's wedding.... his partner sure seems happy.
We have a bunch of these tiny purple flowers in our yard... they are really just weeds, but if you get enough of them together they look pretty good!
Last night our niece Caitlin got married.. this is her dad John walking her down the aisle.. it was good to see everyone.
I am pretty sure its a cherry tree.. and they are in full bloom.. pretty, huh?
The first Bluebonnets are blooming! OK, maybe not...these are really grape hyacinth... I think.. anyway they are really pretty!
OK, I didn't take this picture but everyone needs to know about this little girl Kodi Tutt.. because she needs lots of prayers... she lives in Sanger and is 5 yrs old.. she's spending the next several months at Cooks Children's Hospital in Ft. Worth fighting Neuroblastoma... you can keep up with her progress on her web site at this link:http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/kodituttPlease pray for her.
Our sweet (except for Monday when she stole 3 baby bunnies from their nest) golden retriever Cappy was feeling left out since Max has been in this blog several times and she has not... so now she has.
In order to preserve history... the famous "Little Boys / Mother & Daddy / Karen Karen" linen shelf has now been immortalized on the Internet... Preserved for generations of curious descendants to theorize on the plight of those poor "little Boys" and the mistreatment they must have suffered....
Spring returned today, after a brief interlude, our Bradford Pear tree is not white with snow, but white with blooms.
Justin is 24 today! We took him to Sangria last night, a Spanish tapas restaurant on Cole Ave. in Dallas... really good! Happy Birthday Justin!
Its the first day of Spring... and its 30, snowing, and high winds.... what a difference a day makes...yesterday was sunny and 70... our poor daffodils are taking a beating....
RayBan..... what all the cool dogs will be waering this summer...
Sarah's super cool green running shoes... she had them custom made for the St. Patrick's 5K.. .... OK... that may not be completely true.
Probably the strangest tribute to St. Patrick's day can be found in Keller... in front of the Keller ISD bus barn... two full size plastic cows painted green, white, & gold.. hummm
Central Market's flower department has the most beautiful roses ever... all kinds of unique hybrid colors and fragrances.
Eating breakfast at Cafe Brazil after running the 5K... Susan looks a bit tired. Good food and great coffee.
Its Official! Spring is coming to Sanger! The daffodils in our front yard bloomed today! Yippy Skippy! Today was also the opening of the 2010 Formula 1 season with the Grand Prix of Bahrain.
We ran the St.Patrick's Day 5K in Dallas today... Sarah & Travis finished in about 24 minutes... Susan & I walked (fast) and finished in 42 minutes.. It was beautiful weather and there were lots of crazy people!
Sarah, Zane, Kate, & Carl with the medals they won for running the Little Rock, AR Marathon relay. They finished in under 4 hours!
I saw this restored VW bus at Target, its a 1969 model and it had a sign in the side window that said "Hippies use Side Door"... How cool is that!
The first leaves to pop out on our Bradford Pear tree... Spring is almost here!
Jenny is about 20 weeks along, she went to the doctor today and....
It's baby Jude!
Someone built a race track for sports cars between Decatur and Era on FM 51 called Eagles Canyon Raceway. I stopped by and the the Dallas Porsche Club was having a club race. This is a modified 1997 Boxster.
With a name like "Tater Junction" its got to be good! They actually do have good food, I had the catfish.
No matter how bad a day you may be having, there is never a good reason to hang out at a bar named "Out On A Limb"... Sadly not everyone agrees with me as this place always has trucks in front.
This squirrel at TWU actually posed for me to take its picture! Those who live in the "Frozen Tundra" will be happy to hear it was almost 70 today!
Much to my surprise, Spring is in full swing on the TWU campus!
This is a raccoon that hangs out in the oak tree at Pat's house. It seems their eyes glow from a camera flash... Spooky!
It could be the best thing about Popeye's is how good it smells inside... its kind of like walking into Starbucks and how the smell of fresh brewed espresso is at least half the appeal... well at Popeye's the cajun spices smell so good your mouth starts watering as soon as you walk in... Go for the Loaded chicken wrap.. spiced beans and rice with a fried chicken strip rolled in a flour tortilla.... and its just $1.49!!!
I love church signs, these guys in Aurora like to be cleaver. Come near to God and he will come near to you.James 4:8Its March, yea! Come on Spring!
