The winter Olympics ended today with Canada beating USA 3 to 2 in the Ice Hockey to win the gold medal. To make Sarah happy I'm posting a pic of Shaun White with his gold medal.
I took this group to the Great Southwest Bible Bowl in Duncan OK on Saturday and five out of eight earned medals! It made 15 years of Bible Bowl competitions for me.
We have had a pair of doves living at our house for several months. They took refuge here during dove season and somehow figured out that we don't have a shotgun.

It snowed for 20 hours yesterday, over a foot of snow in one day, a record for Texas. This morning there was snow everywhere but the pine tree next to my office was really covered, this is a close up of one branch, looks like Colorado.
We got a record snowfall today, somewhere over 7 inches! This is Travis & Max in the snow fort we built... Travis plans to spend the night in the fort to prove he can.
Susan's Christmas cactus has began to bloom... its only 6 weeks late... but this just proves it was meant to be part of the Smith family... better late than never!
The New Orleans Saints came from behind to beat the Indianapolis Colts 31 to 17 in Super Bowl 34. The colts were ahead 10 to 0 at the end of the first quarter. Drew Brees was MVP.
My truck passed 170,000 miles a couple of days ago... I guess I will have to get a new one some day but I hope this one makes it a few more years cause I really like it!
The first Daffodil of 2010 has come up in our backyard.... this means Spring is just around the corner... or this plant has gone goofy.. not sure which. BTW, I made it 1 month, only 11 to go! You can click on any pic and it will enlarge to full screen.
