Our first formal night, we ate at one of the specialty restaurants, an Italian restaurant called Sabatini's... It was soooo good, we all ate way to much, even Sarah! This pic was taken on the grand staircase in the centrum, its a really beautiful ship. I dont have photoshop so I cant edit these pics, this one is a bit dark. We will be in St. Marteen / St. Martin tomorrow.

Monday Night dinner, it was Wonderful! We think we have the dinning thing figured out.. you can see we are a bit sunburned from the beach.. as I write this (Tue @ Noon) we are about halfway between the Bahamas and St. Martin / St.Marteen, will arrive there in the morning. Tonight is our first formal night so the next pics will be of us dressed up!

Susan and Sarah enjoying the beach at Princess Cay, Bahamas.... It is really a beautiful island and beach.. they had a beach barbecue for lunch that was good and we had a great time! Travis & I rented a water bike and rode it around in the ocean until legs were worn out!

Sunday Afternoon, boarding the ship! The Emerald Princess is a beautiful ship but we have had a couple of problems, they lost one of Sarah's bags until Monday morning and we had to wait about 45 minutes to eat Sunday night.. not too bad but not what we were used to with Royal Caribbean..

The new Air Conditioner that was installed at the Portlock house.. we hope to have a renter in by August... We are almost ready to leave on the cruise, just a few short hours! P.S. Its only 6 months till Christmas!

Today was VERY HOT, we got in the Suburban about 2:30 and the temp gauge showed 106! After driving for a while it came down to 102, still hot..

Susan & I went to Bob's Steak and Chophouse for our 29th anniversary... I had Chilean sea bass.. it was served with fried jumbo shrimp and artichoke hearts, tomatoes, yellow squash, and zucchini squash.. it was so good! Susan had a prime New York Strip.. it was pretty good too!
Dessert was bread pudding made with banana nut bread!

Travis' dinner creation, grilled chicken with rosemary and a citrus sauce made with grapefruit and orange, roasted baby potatoes and spinach ... it was yummy!

This is a restored 1975 BMW R90/6... the guy that owns it is so proud of it that he parked it on the sidewalk in front of Panera Bread.. too good for the parking lot.. it is really nice.

Abby Sunderland was found alive! .. but her boat is torn up enough that she cant continue her round-the-world trip. She is expected to be picked up by a fishing boat on Saturday.

I have been following Abby Sunderland's blog for the last few months, she is 16 and is sailing solo around the world... she is currently in the middle of the Indian Ocean and her boat has been lost, she set off her emergency beacons this morning and a rescue boat is trying to find her.
Pray for her!

For Alex's graduation party, Travis made cheesecake with a cherry sauce and
pavlova, which is baked meringue with a lemon curd filling and blueberries. Both were amazing!
