Travis on the first day of his Senior year! Susan made lemon / blueberry pancakes... Sarah decorated the table all fancy.. Then we took pictures just like we did when he started Kindergarten 12 years ago!
This is a rain-water collection system.. like the one we are planning to build for our log cabin in Colorado that will be "off the grid". Rain water runs off the roof, through a filter, and into the storage tank, where it goes through another filter before being used inside the house.
Jude in a rare "eyes wide open" pose. In order to get him fully awake, so he can be fed, you have to take his shirt off and cool him down... He went to the Dr. yesterday and we were happy to learn he is actually gaining weight! He's closing in on 7 pounds!
Susan and Sarah, dressed up to go to a wedding at church tonight. The bride, Holly Sullivan, wore a red dress! I didn't know they made red wedding dresses..
For the Thursday night dinner party, Travis made homemade tomato basil soup (the best ever!) and grilled cheese sandwiches. Sarah made her signature fruit salad. For desert Travis made fig and vanilla bean panacotta. We had 10 people tonight.
We had ceramic tile installed in the kitchen at Dad's house.. it looks great! It is finally ready to rent, only took 3 years! Today is Dad's birthday, I think he would be 80..
It was 102 outside and I found this squirrel sleeping on the window ledge next door.. it was stretched out flat in the shade.. it must be how they cool off.. Sarah donated her water to aid its survival...
This gaggle of Geese was crossing the road to get to their lake when I drove by.. they live at Alliance Airport.. I made them mad so they honked at me!
