I found 400 of these cables in the warehouse that I forgot I had... they came in with a system last December.. I looked up what they cost and found they are worth $45.00 each... Hummm, 400 X $45.00 = real money! Time to find them a new home!
The plumbing in Dad's house starting leaking inside the kitchen wall... I cut back the sheet rock and found the leaking pipe, when I tried to remove the pipe another pipe broke.. and it quickly turned into a plumbing nightmare..
Susan going over our on-board account summary the morning we left the ship.. it seems Travis was spending money like a drunken sailor.. or was that Sarah?
I took this picture from an observation platform above the bridge on deck 16. As you can tell from the angle of the shot, the bridge/deck extends a good bit off the starboard side of the ship. The sun is about 30 minutes from setting off the stern.
In Miami Beach they have a FERRARI STORE!!! I bought a cool F-1 shirt.. They also have lots of Ferrari's driving around.. After this we drove to Key Biscayne and then back to Ft. Lauderdale to fly home..
Sunday morning, as much as we resisted they made us leave the ship.. Sarah walking off with her best pouty face... Since we had 8 hours until our plane left, we decided to rent a car and drive to Miami.
We went snorkeling in two places, the first was a large coral reef with bunches of tropical fish and the second was over a section where the bottom dropped off from 22 feet to over 7000 feet. We saw tons of tropical fish in all different sizes and colors and even saw a couple of small sharks!Sarah went too but she stayed on the boat long enough to take this pic of the other three of us.
We arrived in Grand Turk, the capital of Turks & Caicos, on Friday afternoon. The population of the island is just 3500 so with our ship in port we more than double the population! The beach was voted as the best beach in the world by some travel magazine.
The "Castaway Girl" catamaran that took us out to Shipwreck Cove where we snorkeled over the shipwreck and a coral reef, we had a great time and got to hold a live starfish!
The harbour in Marigot, the capital of French St. Martin. We ate lunch at the cafe with the yellow awning in the center of the picture, it was soooo good!
Greetings from beautiful St. Maarten (Dutch side) and St. Martin (French side) where we went on an island tour of both sides and had a wonderful lunch at a small French cafe on the French side.
